ONE AFTER 909
we are now rehearsing! like a real band! part of me feels weird letting people know that we have an album out, but have never actually played live. at least in this combination of personalities. but let me assure you, dear reader (real or imagined), we will bring our A-TEAM, A Game, mannequin, etc...
it is not easy to play joyful music. trust me. when so many days we are just barely keeping our heads above water. it would be much easier to give in to the sadness. we've all done it before. and it's not that i have an aversion to sad songs. some of my favorite songs in the world are crushing in their weight... but it is time to push through all that. for us at least.
ps: we have been playing One After 909 and it feels SO GOOD.
